Put More Fun in Your Kayaking Adventure!

  • Children must be at least 10+ years old and be accompanied by adult, as well as sign a waiver or parental form that must be presented by guardian/parent in person.
  • Alaska law prohibits anyone from boating while intoxicated (BWI)—that is, operating a vessel while under the influence of alcohol, an inhalant, a controlled substance, or any combination of alcohol, an inhalant, and a controlled substance.

  • Alaska law also states that individuals must wear a PFD (or personal flotation device) while on the water.
  • Watch out for wildlife and keep a safe distance.
  • Protect yourself from the sun. We suggest wearing sunscreen and a hat, cap, or visor.
  • Stay hydrated while kayaking! Drink 1-2 bottles of water per hour.
  • Do not litter! Help keep Alaska clean and beautiful!
